    Have you tried the latest drivers? Halo uses the 2.0 shaders?!?! Didn't know that. You should try the latest beta drivers. Although the drivers ARE beta I would suggest them anyway (you should get less headaches if anything).

    I'd recommend getting a 9600 as the GF FX doesn't like your rig, but that's not exactly a cheap route....

    Where can you get the beta drivers from. I didn't think nvidia had released the 50.xx beta drivers yet. Any info is greatly appreciated. Yes Halo does use 2.0 shaders just not very well on FX cards. Thanks

    yep, halo use 2.0 shaders when it can.... just very badly! i had to force it to use 1.1 shaders in order to get a decent frame rate.
