Hammerhead Shark
in the summer of '02, i had tons of free time while my molecular dynamics models crunched away. i got bored as hell, and stumbled upon the forums here at Sharky. that summer i got hooked on hardware.
i finally have some money (and my Dell just isn't cutting it anymore), and my new PC is on its way from newegg. "thank you" to everyone here who helped me learn the ropes over the last 18 months.

Not me.
I built my first machine back in 1975 or 76. An Altair 8080.

500Hz homebuilt. Very nice.
I guess I can't use the, "Anything less would be so....dot matrix." line for this one.
