    Killzone delayed???

    ps2.ign.com has a rumor that Killzone will be delayed.

    While Killzone's delay could likely be blamed on the huge lineup of PS2 software already planned for the winter months and the probability that it may have to go head to head with Halo 2 on the store shelves.
    I don't mind if they delay it because it isn't finished. I'd rather the game not be rushed to market if they can make it better. However, according to the article, Sony may hold it back because of the big titles coming out this fall, such as Halo 2. Now, call me stupid, but wouldn't you want your Halo killer app coming out at the same time as Halo 2?

    Unless it ISN'T a Halo killer.

    You can bill it and "PR" it as anything you want, and many companies do, that doesn't mean its going to be what they hype it to be.
    If its true, I think it's obvious they don't want to take any chances with their "Halo killer", and would rather wait until there's no chance Halo doesn't turn around and kill them.

    no way is killzone gonna be a "halo killer"

    halo 1 and 2 are practically the only reasons many diehard xbox fans own an xbox

    i think us PS2 owners already have our hands full this season with GTA San Andreas, GranTurismo 4, Metal Gear Solid 3, Phantom Brave, etc...

    I think killzone will be a decent game but halo 2 has so much going for it so I doubt it'll actually beat out halo 2 in terms of sales and popularity...but then again we haven't played it yet so who knows what it has...

    however if this rumor is true...then that just shows a lack of confidence from sony and that begs the question if it really is what it's supposed to be...

    Killzone won't be a Halo killer. I would call it PS2's Halo.

    You don't like Beethoven. You don't know what you're missing. Overtures like that get my... juices flowing. So powerful. But after his openings, to be honest, he does tend to get a little ****ing boring. That's why I stopped!
