Sleeps with the Fishes
Widescreen and mouse speed
Since I have a 17" widescreen on my laptop the mouse seems to be to slow to travel across the screen even when the mouse setting it set to fastest setting. Plus in games it seems to be even worse while sensitivity is all the way up. Is there a way to speed up the mouse?

At this point, your best bet is to go out and buy a mouse with a high dpi sensor (like around 800 to 1000dpi).
The Logitech MX510 is a nice corded mouse with 800dpi. The MX518 just came out, and has a hardware engine to switch between 200/400/800/1600dpi at the click of a button.
If you want cordless, try the MX1000... very high dpi engine, bluetooth base. For a cordless and portable mouse, check out the Logitech V500. All aluminum body, receiver slides into base, 800dpi engine, solid-state touch panel scroll wheel. So sexy. If Lindsay Lohan was a cordless mouse, she'd be a Logitech V500.

As of right now im using the logitech mx500 mouse I really dont wanna go out and buy a new mouse for this. Maybe there might be a setting in widows to trick it into going faster idk?
