Buying a thin Laptop - need help
greetings,
I'm in the market for a capapable thin laptop. No DELL, COMPAQ, or HP. Must have 512RAM ad at least 60MB HD. any suggestions? I simply dont know where to look. My price range is $1000 - $1500.

Powerbooks are nice, although it gets somewhat thinner.

Thinkpads are also pretty nice.

Of those two, only the S series. The K is awful.
Another vote for IBM, they make the best laptops in my opinion. I haven't seen someone who managed to unintentionally break an IBM.

How about an Averatec laptop? They all fit that budget, so I can't think of a specific one.
