When did this forum start. I will be spending lots of time in here. You guys better get some people in here to keep me company.

Heres the downlow. Next semester at school we are renting a house - no more dorms. I have the downstairs and its my realm to do stuff with heres how its going to work:


What I have:
Panasonic PT-L500U 1280x720 HD Projector

What I'm going to get:
-Cheap Outrageous Desktop Deal from dell for HTPC
-Chaintech AV-710 sound card
-Maybe a wireless KB/Mouse
-Onkyo 6.1 Channel 1000Watt Home Theater System

I'll throw in a couple couches (i'm going to build a platform to put one behind the other tiered seating style). Then i'm building a screen for my projector over the summer.

fir the wireslee kb/mouse, i would suggest the bluetooth mx die cause the regular duo uses RF technology and only has a range of about 10 feet

If I get one it'll be a really cheap crappy one, I don't want to spend for than $40-$50 on it, as this is supposed to be a cheap HTPC, and the keyboard won't be more thant 5-6 feet away at most any time anyway.

And I have and quite like the Duo on my main rig, and I can get a range of more than 10 feet from it, and never would need it that far away anyway.

Your gonna have to name your theater, I suggest pornjector, we were torn between future wall and that, but the women won out so pornjector is still up for grabs.
