Im wanting to build a HTPC. it will mainly be running MythTV, would a ITX board with the VIA chipset work for this type of thing? it wont be HD, at least not to start with if that matters.
An ITX (Via solution) will not be able to do HD, not even close. So if this is a long term goal, you may want to look elsewhere. However, there are P-m ITX solutions that may be able to cut it - maybe.
Whatever the case, for normal HTPC tasks the higher power Via ITX systems would be fine.
