New BF2 patch to fix a patch... 1.21

Battlefield 2 v1.2 -> v1.21 Patch Released
Change Log:

* Fixed the Hmmwv with TOW crash on Battlefield 2: Special Forces maps
* Fixed the Battle Recorder crash
* Fixed the screen capture
* Fixed the issue with Pixel Shader 1.4 video cards
* Fixed the issue that caused heat seeking missiles to stick to oil towers
* Fixed the issue that caused heat seaking missiles to ziz-zag
* Reduced the maximum number of claymores that can be dropped to 2
* Fixed the Server Browser filter to enable search by map name
* Fixed the error in Client - Server communication causing sound, animation and other sync issues.

If you have BF2 you must update to play on ranked servers. Frankly I'm still reeling from the crud they put in the last patch and personally I don't think this patch goes far enough into fixing it. I also was hoping to get another chance at my explosives badge since the claymores are so easy now, but I guess I'll be limited to 2 instead of the 5 so it will take me a little while longer. I just wish DICE/EA could release a patch that doesn't screw things up.

Argh, I was hoping they would fix the medic/C4 thorwing thing. Well, I guess it wouldn't be a fix, but I really miss throwing my C4s over fences

so, does BF2 work well yet online? havent even picked it up because of all the problems with it.

I dont know how much more i could of taken i mean i kill 30-40 peaple map and instead of having 70 points i have like 35

I guess it wouldn't be a fix, but I really miss throwing my C4s over fences

Theres no problems I had the game since it came out the only problem i could think is that its full of assholes

i've been wanting to pick it up, but i'm scared the helicopters dont fly like DC(sorry, but i'm a helicopter junkie), it was full of bugs, and is still like $50+

I think it is a good game that has small room for improvement. Anytime I play BF2, I have a good gaming experience!

I was a heavy DC player too in its heyday. Choppers in BF2 are just much easier to control, and autohover when you let go of the throttle. BF2 vanilla is much better than BF1942 was, but im still waiting for some of the better mods to be released like forgotten hope 2, eve of destruction 2 and maybe the new DC.

I am pretty much about to give up on this game. With each patch new crap happens.

It takes 2 stabs to kill someone with a knife when before it was one.
I have a 50-50 shot of having my AT missle or TOW missle going THROUGH the tank.
Red/blue bug
The jump c4 was awsome. They just needed to increase the time to pull out the detonator. Not take away the toss.

At least claymores don't TK anymore. I'll have my vet explosives yet.

Do you guys that play bf2 have the expansion? I don' thave it yet, but it's kind of annoying that on regular bf2 servers people with the expansion can use the unlocked expansion weapons. So they have better guns because they spent another $30.
