    Interesting.
I've been saying for years that we are well past the time of "Science Fiction". We have moved into an era of "Science maybe" and possibilities. Brain-run "computers". Yea, pretty soon we'll be talking to everything from cars to our front door.

Not to mention... the dog brain cells had to learn. The next question is... if brain cells are taken from a kid who has been playing quake 3 for a year, will they integrate faster with the system?

    Hah, fakes. Nice find Ash.

The actual article on the rat brain cells is really interesting, though. We've got a long way to go, but it should be interesting where it all leads.

It is, follow the second link that Ash posted (the "I fail at internet" link).
Also, if you look at the bottom of that "press release" it says it is a fake.

Yeah they do. I saw a monkey hooked up to one. He could pick up snacks and put them in his mouth.
