    I don't think on a clock for clock basis, Yorktown will have anything for Barcelona. However, AMD will have to ramp the frequency to put the hurt on intel. Obviously, they can get it to 3GHz, but I doubt they can get that many up that high. If they can put out a lot in the 2.4GHz to 2.6GHz range, they should be good.

    The 3GHz chip with two HD 2900XT 512MB cards supposedly broke 30,000 in 3DMark 06.

    Why have all the FX-60 chips disappeared?
    I still see 55's and 57's for sale,no 60's at all.
    S939 of course.

    They stopped making them awhile back, probably sold out at the low prices with a lot of S939 people wanting a fast dual core CPU.

    plus the x2-6000+ is the top am2 socket and its just as cheap

    I was able to get this one on a limited time offer from TD for $349 along with a msi rx280 board and a mid tower case with a window.
