so far... far cry don't run as smooth on my PC as DeadSpace (residentevil 4 in space

I'm not surprised or blaming FC2 as it is an open world with larger scope.

but the keybinding thing kinds put me off.

ohh well I got DS now so I won't be touching FC2 for a little bit.

I just got past that same part. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a whole new map that opened up. The game also got a lot harder with more enemies at checkpoints, and boats with mounted RPG launchers. I think I am going to have to become a lot more tactical as the game goes on.

Its mind blowing that heavy PC gamers are even bothering with keyboard bindings when you can have this

Or for some extra money, the tournament edition, backlit ftw.

it's a substitute for your wasd controls...I assume the d-pad is quick and easy access to switching weapons or to quickly cast spells...I haven't used it but that's because I don't know how well it'll work

USB gamepad, where you can program every single button to a key, a macro that can be triggered by simply pushing once or while holding it (really useful for wow) or press once and it does the key until you press again. You have 4 states on the controller, normal, red, green, blue, meaning for a game you can have 4 different bindings that you can switch back and forth, useful for games that has different play styles, RPG/MMO classes or shooter/vehicle, etc.

even the mouse wheel and its press click button can be programmed to whatever you want.

oh and it loads whatever setup you made for a specific game automatically as soon as you launch that game, so its pretty neat.

Yeah. I played a bit more to get new guns and unlock a couple more shacks. Then I took a bus to what I thought was the centre city but when I got there it was Docks. Took a minuter or two for me to realize it was a new map. I went to a barge and saved it for tomorrow.

Good thing there's a new map because I was wondering what was going on. I still have lots of weapons to unlock, I only found about 60 diamond brief cases and it was getting hard to find a shack that I didn't unlock and I'm still at 42% or so.

Yupe I've been using the N52 for years for gaming. It KICK SERIOUS REAR ENDS! I and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT if you play shooters.
I got two of them one for $8 bux after rebates and the other one was $15 AR. The are great even for regular apps where u have like an extra keyboard binded to macros for programs.

I don't know about the new version last I heard last year, some people say its' not that good, the software for it is buggy. it LOOKS great but its expensive at $60+ they are asking for. and it doesn't offer anything new. same # of buttons just differn't look.

If it's ~$30 is and they fix the software issue I would upgrade.

before I had the H maped to another button and no matter what buttons I press it won't heal....

after I'm healed I remapped the keys back to my setting.

hope no more of thse bugs starts up again.
Im still having this problem, I have changed no settings whatsoever but it still wont self heal! Im thinkin they should test the game at least a little before releasing it!

Any other ideas? All settings are at default and Ive restarted like 10 times and it still doesnt self heal when i press h

Far Cry 1 is my favorite games of all time. I've gone back and beat the campaign at least 5 times. Far Cry 2 on the otherhand is very repetitive/boring. Even though I take the bus, there's too much driving. Not a fan of the respawning guards at cleared check points and the limited map view. (I want to see the entire map instead of sections) I'm 6 hours in and the main missions seem the same and there really isn't any story.

Far Cry 2 seems to get most of its attention as a benchmarking tool.

That's one of my biggest pet peeves with PC gaming. Too many people seem more interested in games as benchmarking tools and stressing about whether they're getting 34.3 FPS compared to the 35FPS that they're SURE they should be able to get, than actually playing the game to enjoy.
    Crysis is the perfect example.
