    will 64bit vista make more use of multicore cpus?

    I have found my chip barely useing more than one core most of the time even when it is doing quite alot.

    64-bit won't make a difference.

    If you aren't seeing heavy usage on both cores, you aren't doing anything multi-threaded with high cpu load.
