New video card?
I want to run Gears of War on my PC but the game wont start. My rig currently has an AMD 2100+ overclocked to a 2700+ with 2 gigs of ram and a ATI 9700 VC. I was told the game wont run because my video card wont support it. If I were to upgrade to a new more powerful VC will the game run?

Since you're using the once great 9700, you'll have to look at AGP cards. Might I suggest one of the best AGP cards available right now? The HD3850 is one of the best available now, should do GoW at 1280x1024/1440x900 well enough.

3850 AGP is so old though.
Try a 4670 AGP video card...
