    Stock cooler is extremely loud, any suggestions guys

    arctic cooling freezer pro 64 is inexpensive, quiet, and capable cooling. am2 compatable, some reviews report it fits am3 as well. if it will fit the am3, that's your winner.

    Funny thing is, after day 3 this cooler decided to behave, barely audible and cooling good.

    It needed three reboots for the AMD overdrive to kick in, all is good now.
