Loud screeching sound then PC freezes

    Hello everyone,

I have been having this odd issue with my pc for the past year.
At random times i will get this loud screeching/pop in my speakers and then my whole system freezes. The only way to get my system running again is to cold boot.
Originally i thought my RAM was bad, i ran memtest and everything was reported as being good.
I thought it was my raid hard drives going bad, i replaced both of them, still the issue persisted.
Finally i ifgured it was my motherboard, so i changed out my motherboard, guess what? I am still having the issue! I check the Windows Event log but i don't say anything that says a critical error or such. Maybe the system is dying before anything gets written? There are quite a few "Info" logs tho, i will post the last one in this post.
A few other things i have tried is running with onboard sound vs my sound card, still having the issue.
Disabling my soundcard, still having the issue.
I am now at my wit's end.
the only components in my system that are "constant" from when i had the old motherboard are my videocard, PSU, my RAM and a USB port.
Please see below for my system specs and the Event Viewer Log -

    Windows XP SP3
    Asus PQ5 Turbo (upgraded from a MSIP458D)
    Sound Blaster Live Audigy 2
    4GB DDR2 RAM
    ATI Radeon 4850
    Realtek Onboard Audio
PSU - Rosewill Xtreme Series RX750-D-B 750W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Certified (bought in 2007)

    And the EVENT VIEWER LOG

That loud screech is a power coil of some kind. If you've replaced the motherboard my guess is the PSU, or possibly the video card.
