Can I restore a deleted account in Windows 7 (64-bit)
OMG. Made a big blunder but hope there is some solution.
The last restore point is 3 days old
By mistake and while logged in with another administrator account, I deleted a Windows account of another administrator. Is there any way to undo and recover the deleted account.
Please hlp. OMG, what was I thinking

If you haven't been making backups and you chose the "delete all user data" option.
Then I'm afraid its gone.
To be sure, look in the USER folder in C if the other Admins name is still in there you might have a chance to get it back.
Convar makes a freeware recovery tool called PC Inspector. If you haven't wrote over the erased data it also might help you get the other person's data back.
If not THIS might be your only hope...

He didn't mention if he tried Recuva or not.

Hi Steve,
I did try Recuva and it did not help. I know this is against "ethics" but when desperate (as in the case when making this post) and when google returns too many results, I commit the mistake of seeking help from my favourite forums hoping to get a quick reply.
Once the problem is solved, I do try to share the findings on the forums where i posted (and for the benefit of other forum members) just in case.
Thanks.
