Hammerhead Shark
When I worked at Gamestop......originally Babbages, then Software Etc, we would flat out tell them their stuff was not sellable. There were plenty of times we literally found roach nests inside of systems.

I don't roll on Shabbos!
I'm not surprised at all at some of the high console failure rates. I'm actually surprised the Wii and PS3 do so well considering how awful people treat them. I've gone into some of my friend's dorms/apartments and there are T-shirts sitting on them, beer stains, etc.

Hammerhead Shark
To be fair, Nintendo systems are always built with kids in mind so they're always dependable. Plus they're using refined tech from last gen in the Wii. It's just crazy the amount of stuff they're cramming in the other systems.

Snarky Quorums
The PS3 was also a year behind schedule while they were waiting for blue laser bugs to get fixed, so they had a lot more time to develop a more mature platform than the 360, which was pretty much pushed out the door the instant Microsoft had one that would boot. I would be surprised if the next Xbox has this many problems. Microsoft is a dominant player now, they don't need to stick something out as soon as possible.
There is the theory of the moebius. A twist in the fabric of space where time becomes a loop.

Awesome.

We didn't have any script, we would just tell them we couldn't take it and if they acted stupid or belligerent we'd need to get firm and tell them to stop wasting our time.
