Canon printer IRC2550i Black&White and Color how to restrict a domain user

    Hi

I have installed a new canon printer irc2550i on a 2003 server (AD environment) twice and I named it as :

    CanonIRC2550BW and CanonIRC2550Colour

    For the black and White

For the Security tab I have got this :
Group “Everyone” only first option (print) is ticked

    For the Color one

For Security tab I have got this

I removed the group “Everyone” and I am looking to add proper users

For "Everyone" group this is what I did (yes the snapshot does not show Everyone group),,,,,for other groups (Administrators, Print Operators, Server Operators) I left it as it is

Theyre probably inheriting rights from the Authorized Users group.

Have you logged them off and then back on? I've never actually tried to restrict a printer.

I could not find one group which is " Creator Owner " although I searched for it

    Below are other groups :

Please see the snapshot below :

    1- Administrators Group Properties

    2- Print Operators Group Properties

    3- Server Operators Group Properties

' Print Operators ' Group and ' Server Operators ' Group are " Member Of " none.

Creator Owner rights on the printer, not in ADUC. Look in your screenshots. What are rights set to.
