Bam! Grabbed my copy for $20 but have yet to play. Just saw that the expansion was on sale for $10 this holiday. Keep an eye out for future sales.

Picked up a 300 pack of high end card sleeves for my mage knight cards. Also bought a plastic bin for better sorting. My goal is to pimp out the storage to make game setup easier. Saw a variety of ideas from bgg and just ran with it. The community there is very impressive. people even make their own custom add-ons and share.

If we hit that bull's eye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

HOLY CRAP! When Ikusa was re-released last year I was calling out for someone to remake Fortress America! I am glad it is happening.

Boardgame revival? The concept is totally awesome, but the tech is still lacking. Just think of the possibilities with OLED. Roll out the totally interactive board and have tons of games stored on a flash device. Then use your 3D printer to print out all the items

I've seen big Microsoft Surface-style tables being used for D&D and it was absolutely awesome. This looks similar, on a smaller scale and hopefully cheaper.

If this works with D&D/Pathfinder, is a big enough size to at least accommodate a 20x20 room (yes, this means I want the thing to be around 2'x2'), and is priced reasonably, it will be pretty sweet.

That would be pretty sweet. And on that subject, someone needs to port Maptool over to iOS.

I guess we could play over Skype if we both had the same game, or through the Kinect. Has anyone tried a RPG on a video conference call?

Over video, no, but I've used Maptool and it works nicely. Speaking of which, I was thinking of running a one-shot some time this month (mostly to make Unarekin happy), so if any of you would be interested in that, let me know.

Most likely the Dragon Age RPG. I want to start running games in my FLGS but I want some more experience with the system first.

Resource material in the drop box shared folder?

Also I think I quit the folder because it got crazy big on the invite list and some person started putting private photos on there.

Yep, that was my buddy Glen being an idiot. I also dropped from that folder.

If you're in Nerd Share (this might actually be called Mike Share by default) then the material is in there. If not, I'll shoot you an invite.

    EDIT: Invite shot.

@Taggart - That DARPG thing is still happening if you're still interested. This was the purpose of the new Facebook group I dragged you into.

With one of our regulars away for a few weeks, we took a break from Risk Legacy and finally checked out Puerto Rico. The game is very interesting. There's almost no randomness, making it a highly skill-based game. Needless to say we all did pretty poorly that first game and we each have some revised strategies going forward.
