    Sandia is so cool. Can't wait to see some of these in action. The claim is ridiculous though, 30x more efficient?

    It may be true though. I want to see it real world tested to make sure.

    The video shows it in action as a stand alone device - not hooked into a fully built computer. I'm going to bet that they are going to need a chasse around that cooler so the cables don't get tangled. That's going to leave you with a giant boxy item taking up a lot of the mobo space.

    That's just an engineering sample to confirm proof of concept. I'm sure when or if heaksink manufacturers design one for the consumer market, it will look much different.
