    best vpn service?

well, i finally got some blazing fast internets here in japan, but things like hulu and netflix tell me to **** off. :/ anyone recommend a good vpn service that is CHEAP, fast, and reliable?

I am kind of eying this one, but it still seems a little pricey: https://portal.bolehvpn.net/order.php

    That is pricey.

I use a swedish one called relakks, costs about £2 ($3.20) p/m, which is essential if one plans to violate digital rights in any way or even torrent legitimate stuff and stay off the radar. You cant use any other country, despite claims if you plan to do anything shady.

But from my UK IP or my swedish vpn, I cant access Hulu. I can access netflix as they've launched in the uk, but the uk choice in comparison to the US choice is rubbish.

Here is a supposed US and other country one for $3.75

    That is incorrect simon.

If Kero accessed a European only VPN, then he would not get access to Hulu or US Netflix as they are barred from most places outside the US, hence the issue in the first place.

The amount of spam in this thread is pretty interesting. Please don't close it. I didn't realize that VPN services were so competitive.

Whenever I need a VPN I just spin one up in Amazon EC2 with a micro instance. It's a bit more expensive and takes a little while to set up (not really that hard, plenty of tutorials around), but if I only need it for a week I can have it for a week and it's faster than anything you'd be able to buy from anyone else.

Too many to choose from now, I just want to find one of good price sure but one that keeps the speed i would have if i wern't connected.
http://www.vpn-guide.com & http://www.dslreports.com have some good reviews on them, but not many that list max speed figures.
