I'll pick up Diablo 3 up someday.
Speaking of Vanilla.... Wurm, do you modify the drop rates or are you playing it "clean"? I remember a lot of discussion here about the fact that the drops were horribly skewed towards junk. A lot of people used the defiler game mod if I remember right. (I was one of them after reading the thread.)

    Defiler all the way baby!

But even without it in the beginning I was getting nice loot as I went along, it made me feel as I was never overpowered and had to work for it.

With defiler I got rid of broken and normal weapons so no more huge piles of rust waiting to happen everywhere I go, but since the mobs actually use the items they drop, the monsters seem to hit harder since they now all use yellow weapons at a minimum.

I think you put this in the wrong thread, but Chrono Trigger 2 is already a thing! I did not like it, but I do love the soundtrack.

Chrono Cross is not Chrono Trigger 2...That is like saying FF7 has a sequel.

I've tried to get into Titan's Quest, it's just so dated. Hard to play games like that on a 46" screen.

Your post has me playing again, LOL. Yes it is.

So, quick question. I have a gem that Snakespy gave me, 1000 Thanks!, that gives me +25% experience but there is a helm to be had cheaply on the auction house that gives +10,000 damage. What will net me the greater experience gain?

Depends on if I give you a gem that does +50% experience. Look for a helm with extra damage and a socket

    Looks fine on a 24" @ 1920x1080 Can't say the same about Diablo 2...

Now that I know you are level 60, go for damage for sure Kung Fu. Experience is more important to get up to level 60. However with the new paragon system, maybe experience is still important. Hmmmmmm.
