Yeah I should be around tonight.
I also have an extra Bismark for Civ 5 if someone has a duplicate they don't need that I don't have. If not I may hit up the 1:1 bot from the Steam Sale thread. If you go tour badges you can see what cards your friends have that you don't.

It is 4 bots you can friend that each have their own inventory. They tell you what the card you are trading is worth and what they sell them for. You can browse their inventory on their webpage. The bots buy and give different amounts since they have different inventory.

Awesome.
Doesn't the Steam Marketplace obviate the need for something like that bot?

Can you actually trade with the bots or is it only purchasing?

Okay I think I get it. The system uses the market value to determine card worth and trade value.

Except that Valve takes a percentage of each card trade and that dollar amount is actively removed from the market place with each sell. The trade bot is really just a 1:1 with no overhead cost included.

Also I can't sell anything on the marketplace for 30 days since I haven't bought anything in a while.

I think they also change the value based off their own inventory. Bot#1 shows 15c to buy Civ 5 cards, but Bot#2 which has duplicates sells theirs for 10C. I didn't look to see if they are the same cards though. They only give 10C on either bot for the card.

I figure I'll use the bots to try to get a 1 to 1 trade only. Steam needs to change the current trading system though. HAving to friend people to trade is very restrictive.

Yeah is 1.5x the price if its the last card, so you should only use it if they have two of the cards you want. Also if they have 9 of the same card you will only get .75x the credits for it.

Need Prison and Kerbal.
Also, I didn't get my card for my last purchase (<5 minutes ago). Maybe there is a delay or something.
Edit: There was indeed a delay. I still need Prison and Kerbal and have a duplicate of Football Manager and Chivalry.

I figure that's part of the trading card experience. You open up a pack of cards to see what you already have. Luck of the draw and all that.
