    Post A7V BIOS: Multiplier Adjustments

Has anyone tried the new BIOS for the A7V, 1005.03D, that allow for multiplier adjustments to be made in the BIOS? You can get it from http://www.athlonmb.com/files.cfm#asus .

I have read some other forums and some have had problems getting the BIOS multiplier to work, while it has worked for others.

Other than the obvious new feature, I can't say as I've noticed any difference with 1005 from the previous - no stability issues or noticeable performance changes. I didn't have any problems to resolve either, so no change there.

I've no idea why you're having problems with 1004c. If things are already bad on your system, what harm can the upgrade do? However, I'd expect it to be driver or windoze related rather than to do with the bios.
