Post problem with second output on the SB Live value

I recently bought a SB Live Value and on the back it has two outputs.

when I plug the speakers into output 1 they work fine, but when I plug them into output 2 it doesnt work (no signal).

what I would like to do is output 1 to my PC speakers and the second output to my aux connection on my stereo (my stereo work fine in output 1).

    any idea's on this one?

On my sblive!, there is only 1 plug that will work. There is another for a microphone, and another for digital sound. The last one- I forget what that is for. Well, that won't help you, will it!

You have to enable it in the "Surround Mixer". Open "AudioHQ", then the "Speaker" controll panel. After you have opened that there should be three buttons on the left side, click the speaker one. On the right side of the window there is a picture of a computer monitor, and below that there is a pull down list that says "speaker selection". On that list is a choice for "4 speakers" It is not just another speaker output but a rear channel. Hope this helps.

to add on that, when you select "4-speaker" mode, the Rear channel will be comparable to the rear channel of a Dolby 5.1 setup. When you play mp3's, it'll play the same signal out of the rear output, but when you have a 4-speaker application (DVD's, 4-speaker EAX games, etc), the rear output will be different from the front output.
