    That will change depending on the resolution and color depth you are using...when you are using the max color depth and resolution that your card supports, it should be approximately the same as the speed of RAMDAC you have.

    Yes, the refresh rate is really the vertical refresh rate (hence vsync) which is measured in hz, 60 to 120 usually.

    The horizontal refresh is measured in Khz, because for each time it draws across it moves down a pixel and draws across again.

    Multiply these 2 together and you have the video bandwidth of your current resolution, the maximum of which is the clock speed of your ramdac (measured in hundreds of Mhz) or the max video bandwith of your monitor, whichever is lower (usually the monitor unless you are a lucky bastard like me
