Geiss plugin and WinME?
Just wanted to ask- has anyone gotten the Geiss plug-in for Winamp to work with Windows ME? I just installed a couple of days ago, and Geiss won't work correctly- starts up, gives the initial graphic-thing, then won't respond as if it can't detect any music. The titles work, however, and the program does run. I really like this prog., it's going to piss me off if it won't work with WinME.

Guess no one uses this config., eh? Dammit.

Wow!
What type of Sound Card? What's the sound mapper set to?

SoundBlaster Live! Value card, Live!Ware 3.0 installed, default settings, all environmental effects off, clean install of WinME. Geiss is only plug-in installed. Initially, it starts up and looks like it's working, but stops responding as if it can't detect the music. The manual keys for effects work fine, it's not a video problem. I'm going to try uninstalling LiveWare tonight and just installing bare driver.

Well, looks like I was wrong. Had a hunch so I reinstalled my video drivers with a different version (made for 98, not ME) before I did anything else and Geiss works fine. Don't know what was going on, but I'm glad it's working. Also changed from 16-bit color (default) back to good 'ole 32, so that may have had an effect.
