Slow as D-Link DFE-530TX+
I have a 10/100 D-Link DFE-530TX+, and it's as slow as hell. It's been used in 3 different networks, and although i've been able to play CS fine, file transfers are almost modem speed. Has anyone else experienced this?

No, and as a matter of fact I am using the exact same card in my firewall/gateway box. This box is running Linux of course though. I have absolutly no problems, and every other box on my network can download at the max of my badnwidth. 175KBytes.
Maybe it is windows driver issue. Like I said mine is in a linux box. Have you tried to update the drivers?

Noope could not be the drivers i run 2 in my network under NT server and 98se. They run at max bandwith.
Are you running it at the 100mbps. Check in the advanced tab in the adapter properties. If it is set to auto sense, change it to 100 Full duplex. I had problems with Auto Sense.

well it's probably not a driver problem, as i have used the ones that came with it, and ones from the website. When i try and run the diagnostic program, it just hangs (when run according to instructions)
