Post an off the subject question

    Hello,

I am new here. There is something I don't understand about this messaging board. Why is it that everyone is called SUSHI, or something like Expensive SUSHI. I know sushi is food, but what's the meaning in this site. what about those funning looking fish next to the names?

Heh, this is a common question from people who are new to the UBB based message board system. This message boards intent is to allow the Sharkyextreme.com readers a medium of communication, mostly so we can help eachother out with computer problems, but also so we can all get to know eachother a little more. It builds a nice little community of Sharkyextreme fans.

Now the "Sushi" and "Expensive Sushi" titles you're seeing around are titles given to people depending on how many times they've posted on the Sharkyforum boards. The more you post, the cooler your title gets. At 100 posts you reach catfish, I think at 250 or so you reach ref shark, 500 or so is Tiger shark I think, and 1000 is "Gentic Shark!" Heheh, it's mostly a way to encourage you to post plenty, and post often. Keeps ya coming back for more. Also...it *can* be used to give yourself credibility. If you've posted here 1000 times there's a good chance you know what you're talking about. This isn't *always* true of course since any idiot can post the word "doo-doo" 1000 times, but generally speaking, the community here is a mature, and friendly audience, so that's not an issue.

    Hope this cleared stuff up
