MW4 urban level

I've heard some people say MW4 is easy.
These guy's must be good because I can't see any way to get through that first city/urban level without using invunerability. Anybody know the secret?

Can't remember off hand which mission that is but auto cannons and/or er large lasers work great in close combat, also send your lancemates in first, the AI seems to target your mech more often than anyone elses so if they go in first they will draw some of the fire away from you.
