Tribes 2...in EASTER!

While Tribes 2 is showing a lot of promise, it will also need a lot of polishing and bug-hunting before it is ready to release. The graphics aren't quite as impressive in motion as we were expecting, the AI needs working on, the gameplay could use some tweaking, and the whole thing is still rather daunting if you're not familiar with the original game. I very much doubt that we will see Tribes 2 being released until Easter at the earliest, but hopefully we will get more stable beta code before then and will be able to give you a better idea of what to expect from the game...

What is this from? is this from Dynamix? or a review? I would look into it more, but im having problems loading VE.

Now that would just be terrible if it were to happen. My girl's been planning to buy me this game for Christmas for the longest time and I'll be damned if I can't play Tribes 2 over my winter break. Damn it!

Dynamix is working hard on the game and trying to make it the best it can be. Give them time the latter it comes out the better the game will be. If the game came out now we would probably all be very disappointed. Just be patient it will come out...personally i think it was a wise decision to delay the game considering all the large factors involve. And no one officially said the 27th its all been speculation. I know its hard but you have to be patient.

It's ok. Just remember, the only date that counts is the date that Dynamix gives. EB could say next week and it wont meet anything. I am very excited about Tribes 2.

For the guy who is angry about them pushing dates back... it's nothing new. It happens all the time. learn to deal with it because if you get upset everytime a game is pushed back then you are going to be upset most of the time.

Work harder? hmmm I think they are probably putting in 12 to 14 hour days.... actually, probably alot more. How many games have you developed? Just go buy another game from the bargain bin and relax. It will be out soon enough. btw, have you been waiting for Team Fortress 2?

From the interviews.. looks like a GF2 will do good. I have a 32mb GeForce 2.
