    Post Blue Shift

man i finished the game within 24 hours of installing it. there is only something like 5 chapters

the game was extremely fun and i it's hard to believe i'm not bored to death of the half life engine. the new weapon models were great and there were some classic fun moments (using the 50 cal turret to mow down a stream of marines )

    damn, i want more !!

Blue Shift is just a rip off IMO...not enough game play for the price.

Well it does come with op4 and a face lift to the HL engine. But I agree the game was too short and there was no final boss either.

yeah it was designed just to be add on for the dreamcast and ps2 versions of half life, just a extra bonus accompanying the real game. for an HL fan like me, it was a hell of a lotta fun. valve oughta screw tf2 and put everything they got into half life 2. besides, if hl2 is good enough someone will end up making a TF mod for it.

    I'd rather have Half-Life 2.

i liked it, and i don't believe that it was a true ripoff, ok, They Hunger 3 can be had FOR FREE... and it's longer (i mean 1-3).

but the new models are very nice, and level design/gameplay is very good.

downside: the fuse riddle towards the end is sick, because you need a crate to close a circuit... from what i know, you need 2 lines, not one. that's why i had to use the walktrough there, which sucks!

took me ~2 hours to finish, but that's normal for me.
