I havent played D2 online lately but dont you have to go hostile on another play to attack them? no if I remember right if they are hostile on you thne you can just use a town scroll to get away, but if you are hostile on thme too, then you cant. Isnt this correct? And by the way why yould a Lvl 75 want anything you character has? no offence but by that time in the game they cant really buy much weapon/armor wise and I doubt you had much on you they could use, except to just make you mad.

I was wondering why he would even want to attack me...like you said, there was nothing I had that he would want. Only thing I can come up with is that he just wanted to piss the both of us that he killed off. But whatever...different strokes for different folks I guess...

I used to pk all the time. Once in a while I would kill a level eight guy when he would be in a duel game just picking up money. Take all his money after a hard day work and gamble it. Heh, then they would bring in a level 16 guy to duel me, and i would kill them, then they would bring in there friend who was normally 10-15 levels above me, then I would kill them. Heh, thats the main reason I quit D2. Too many newbs

Is this w/ the expansion or not? I know that with or without the expansion you can't hostile anyone who is below a level 9. Also on the looting thing, they removed that from Normal games in the expansion and it's only available in hardcore.

-btw Ra\/en you play on East? Maybe we could go run some hell cows sometime or lvl....or try to lvl your 98/99

Diablo II sucked when I played online...too many hacked characters running around blasting away n00bs like I was

Kinda seemed pointless to play it online after I kept dying from those idi0ts... Best way to play Diablo II is single-player,where the story is...

Don't feel alone, I think all of us have been had by other people in online games. I used to play Ultima Online and one time I attempted to buy a house for 100,000 gold and as soon as I gave him the gold he ran off without giving me the key to the house. Extremely stupid move on my part but that's what online gaming is all about. I would be a liar if I said I have never cheated someone in an online game.

I have played countless hours and never had that happen to me. He shouldn't be able to attack you unless you are at least level 11, and even then, he shouldn't be able to take any of your items...just your money. Unless of course you picked up some items before you recovered your body, and you didn't have enough space to hold all of the items your corpse was wearing...

oh, and only play in games with other players...it is the only way to get worthwhile experience.....

why only play in games with others? What experience does it gain you? I've been playing in a mix of games with others and by myself...I always find other people just get in the way and take everything.
