I've already posted in the Networking forum and people there are always talking about dsl routers and such. So maybe this question is a little beyond the scope of that forum as I've not had even anyone guess at the answer yet.. Anyways.. I have a Bay Networks System 5000 switch running network management module 5616/SA. I can't for the life of me figure out how to configure it for remote access via telnet. In fact, I can't even ping the IP assigned to the switch. The request always times out.

Does anyone know if this switch supports telnet sessions for administration and if so, how to set it up?? Thanks..
