    CD ROM help...

    After 3 years my parents cd drive on their gateway went out so they got an Acer 56x cd rom and I installed it all nice and everything BIG problem though.. it worked fine in win98 but when I recently upgraded their comp to xp pro, it doesn't read some CDs, or shows a different CD than is actually in there. If you have any ideas I'd really appretiate it Thanks

    Your CDROM probably needs its firmware updated to be compatiable with WinXP go here:
