    Advice on new system

Just interested in what you think about this setup. Tell me what can go for something better and what can stay. Must keep in this price range. I currently dont O/C but want to. Would it be stable with what I have listed?

I'd change your motherboard to EPOX 8K3A for $10 more (or $6 more if you want 2 channel audio and not 6 channel) and the hard drive to a 20gb Maxtor D740x, or, for $7 more, Maxtor 40gb D740x...I find Maxtor are just overall better drives (and two WD drives have failed on me and my maxtor is very stable).

You can get that RAM for $56.49 with the one-time coupon, and it has free second day shipping.

Elitism: It's lonely at the top. But it's comforting to look down upon everyone at the bottom.

I'd change 3 things. I agree with the above forementioned choice of an Epox 8k3a+ as a better motherboard.

    Get a DVD-ROM or CD-RW instead of a plain CD-ROM.

Also lose that western digital and get either a Maxtor or Seagate. Western Digitals have reliability problems as do IBMs and they both crash and die very often.

    Everything else looks very good.
