this game looks so cool, I have signed up for the beta testing, It will probably be the first Massively Multiplayer game I get in to.

This is the next big thing I'm waiting for, hope they get it right. I can't wait to become a Dark Jedi! Hm, I wonder, will the characters from the films be NPC that will be part of the story or will you be able to become one of them?

Yes, characters from the movie will be NPC's and it's possible to interact with them.

As far as looting goes, it sounds like you will be able to loot but it won't be the main way to earn items as they want players to either make or purchase items.

What is of most concern is the number of jedi. They've already said that it will be very, very, tough to become one as they want to keep the numbers very limited. I like how they are going about this as it will make it more rewarding and truer to the actual Star Wars universe, but it will frustrate a lot of players who want only to be a jedi.

If you like the pics you'll be even more blown away by the actual footage of the game. The 12 meg one is higher quality as the 37 meg one below is video taken by a guy at a convention where they were showing the game. Even if you're on dialup, just download the smaller one.

Must... become... Dark Jedi.... This is my goal with this game, but I don't like the outlook of how many hours I need to spend to achieve it, I probably won't put that many hours into it necessary to become a Jedi.

When the game comes out we should form a mini group of us all to become Jedi's...then see which one tries to kill us all first. Should be great fun. *nods*
