Living in Phoenix, AZ it can get quite hot here. And the hotter it gets outside, the hotter it will be inside. Especially right after getting home from work. Man o Man! Anyway, my A/C in my apartment went out for 4 hours last weekend. (that sucked). but that wasn't going to keep me from gaming. But my gaming seemed a little sluggish that unfortunate day. The Heat, I figured.

So I put my PC to the test. First my specs:

P3 866@975
256mb pc 133
Geforce Ti 200 @233/470
sblive!

Yesterday when I got home from work, I left the A/C off and ran Q3 bench and 3dmark 2001. It was 105 degrees yesterday and felt hotter when I got into my upstairs apartment. I wish I knew the exact temp in my apartment, but the thermostat's needle was all the way over past the 95 degree mark and pegged. So it was hot in there. Anyway the results were:

q3 bench (max detail, 32-bit everything and high sound): 79.4
3dmark 2001SE (default setting): 4986

Whoa! Now after my pc was off and the A/C on for 1 hour:

q3 bench (max detail, 32-bit everything and high sound): 98.2
3dmark 2001SE (default setting): 5588

Holy God!! Needless to say I didn't believe my eyes. So I will re-run the test this afternoon when I get home. I will post my results tomorrow morning.
