Shuttle AK35GT2 vs Asus A7V266-C
Title says it all.
The shuttle board is a KT333 board w/ 6pcis, 4 dimm slots, sound, ata133 and all that fun stuff.
The asus board is KT266a, 5pcis, 3dimm slots, sound, ata133 also.
The computer is NOT going to be overclocked, it will be used for audio recording/mastering. (will use the onboard sound for output but have a high end audio card for input and all). Stability/reliability is key. I remember back in the day when shuttle boards were absolute crap but since the ak31 boards, I've heard pretty much nothing but good about them.
Anyone have any thoughts or experience with either board that they'd like to share?
*edit* It's come down to these two boards due to extreme budget requirements... I know what I can get for as little as $20 more, but is impossible with the budget I'm working with. I can get either of these boards for under $80. And please don't recommend SIS or ALi boards as they are incompatible with some of the high end audio equipment thats going to be hooked up to this comp.
