LOL!!! Swifty MCX4000-B + TT SmartFan II lowered temps 15 degrees!
hahaha! After installing it and working for about an hour trying to find a way to get my computer to actually boot (it kept doing a long beep, then stop, then long beep then pause - or freezing in the bios), I finally started testing. Prime 95 gets a max of 50 degrees as opposed to the 65 on the volcano 7+! I looked out the sides and saw a bit of arctic silver coming off of the side of the CPU itself, but it was on the top part so the way the computer is standing, it shouldn't get on anything. Anyways it seems very good so far...idling around 39 degrees C while running at 3.0 ghz is great! Just thought I'd let yall know how it turned out...
