LOL- yeah it's a LOT more likely he came across TWO defective VGAs in a row.

Let's see:
I've bought 30-50 VGAs in my life, have never gotten a defective one.
I worked at a box shop for half a year, never sold or serviced a defective one.
None of my friends have ever gotten a defective one that I can recall.
At the company I work at now, none of the ones I've bought, or anyone else has bought has been defective.

I see what you mean Blppt. These VGAs are defective more often than not.

No, it's probably a LITTLE more likely our "friend" here isn't being completely upfront about his OCing habits, and even if he is, your own experience has nothing to do with it whatsoever.
You see, every chip is different in how much it can OC. There are other variables like the room air temp, and case cooling. He might have a crappy little minitower that barely fits the wires, so his card overheats from lack of ventilation.

So, he'll buy his Albatron, burn it up, RMA it, and post how he's on his second Albatron and "why the heck can't I OC like you guys?".
