    laptop newbie

    Im planning to buy a laptop so i can do my homework at work. I have a couple of questions. Whats the difference between Intel Mobile and the regular one? Will the regular Intel chips be as fast as a desktop with the same speed rating? I plan on using a software called Aliaswavefront Studio tools 10.0 (its simular to MAYA except it uses nurbs). The system in my sig runs it really nicely so what laptop speed should i get?

    also, i stumbled upon WINBOOK.com, they've won many awards. Are they a good company? And one more thing, price is a concern.
