    Well, it has been several months since I first posted about the existence of such a processor. I guess for all of you non-believers I only have one thing to say.

    Told you so!

    I must add that this in not intended as flame bait. I am just defending my reputation when so many people where jumping down my throat in earlier posts.

    Go AMD! $49 for a 2GHz+ processor, Yipee!

    If that isn't enough power for you, the 2100+ t-bred is under $100 and seems to be reaching 2300-2400MHz on air.

    On another note, I haven't found one for sale yet, but the Intel mobile P4 1.7GHz is absolutely amazing. C1 stepping and defaults to a 12X multiplier in a desktop PC. Over 200MHz fsb speeds are now possible for P4!



    See, I am not pro AMD. I just have an appreciation of excellent hardware values.
