ip routing! win2k vs xp! heeeelp
my deskop has win2kpro, my laptop xppro...
when i try to go to some websites, they fail to lookup the name via dns... yet my desktop looks them up ok
(both machines plugged into same router. one has ip of 192.168.1.11, the ther .10)
the only difference I can see is in win2k

the kicker is in Regedit under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\P arameters\IPEnableRouter for both 2k and XP, they are set to 0 (no ip routing)!!!
idont know what to do... or why the xp box fails to see some sites, but the 2k one does.
one i just hit was search.keyserver.net (pgp key lookup). 2k connects. xp failes to dns its name....
