OK so I got like 3 PC's all sharing the same RoadRunner connection here at my place and no way am I paying $20 a month more for 2 extra IP's right.. They all got XP Pro on them and I just do the ol easy 1,2,3, internet connection sharing thing but the problem is one of those PC's gotta be left on 24/7 for the rest to get the net right..
Plus say my buddies in a game of UT and I decide to reboot, well he getz F*cked!
So instead of buying a smart router to dole out bandwidth I just grabbed my old ASUS bored (the one that was in my PC b4 I upgraded to what's in my sig) and a **** azz didn't even think it was gonna take an OS 1.2 GB H.D., an old P.S. and some tape and I got rid of where I use to keep my scanner (never scanned anything anywayZ) and poof made a router kinda sorta!It works great and now we can all be online even when I take my PC out of the house or reboot or what not.
It boots up (In like 5 min!!!) with no keyboard, no mouse, and no monitor (so I don't know why I still got the V.card on the mobo) and who needs a case fan when your too damn poor to afford a case!
