    on second look, it might not be bad as a bargain monitor if you are just doing office work and surfing. i thought i had read something negative about a cheap LCD at walmart, but i can't find it anywhere on the web. (or maybe i am remembering some comments from amazon.com site?)

    anyway, refresh rate does not really matter for LCDs so don't worry about that, but no DVI kind of sucks. i'd be interested in a review when you get it. if it trails or ghosts really bad, just try to return it and get a monitor with DVI.
