8MB buffer vs 2MB buffer on CDRW drives
Im looking into buying a new CDRW drive and I was wondering if there is a NOTICABLE difference in performance of a bigger buffer in CDRW drives. I know having a larger cache affects the performance of HDD greatly, but does it have the same impact on CDRW drives? So far I've been looking into the CDRW/DVD combo drives and have took an interest in Lite On's LTC48161H which offers a 2MB buffer and the Samsung SM-352BRNS which offers not only an 8MB buffer but also a faster read write speed. However, from the customer reviews, people seem to have problems with the Samsung drives. So in addition to my 2MB vs 8MB question, any commets and/or recommendations for a new CDRW drive will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
