Besides, I said 60 and 150. Not 100 and 150 . The difference between 100/150 is negligible, but 60/150 is a huge difference atleast IMO.

TBird, the reason your games seem alright at 30FPS could be a few factors. A)They might be slower paced games, slower paced games seem to require fewer FPS. B)The fact that you are locking your FPS at such a low rate, and the fact it never drops below 30 is a big factor. I'll bet if your FPS wasn't capped at 30, and it fluctuated between 20-40 (an average of 30) you wouldn't say 30FPS was alright

It all really depends on the game, and the pace of the game though. 30FPs in something like Morrowind would be fine, where 30FPS in Quake3 would be terrible (and that doesnt take into consideration the physics changes that occur with the Q3 engine at certain FPS).
