i sent my cousin the link to www.turnofftheinternet.com she said that after she clicked the infamous red button nothing happened except her task bar vanished. the full screen window didnt pop up. she is running winxp and uses ie. i told her to go to her task manager and close iexplore.exe but she said it wasnt there. however, she can get her task bar if she uses the window key. her taskbar is not on autohide. she finally gave up and decided to restart her computer. what happened?
