I know this is off topic, but given this is a tech forum i though this place may provide some answers.

I just had a read of the BSA software piracy report for 2002 and noticed that Taiwan has been able to curb it's software piracy rate by over 30% since 1994, while no other Asian country has.

anyone with expertise in this field, can you shed some light on why this is so? I'm planning on undertaking research on this, and am finding it very difficult to find some detailed information on what has contributed to a reduction in piracy in Taiwan.

On what other forums is this good to post? Anyone know of any internet forums specialising in this kind of discussion?
